The 32nd Annual Summer’s End race took place in downtown Winder on Saturday. Despite intermittent rain and pervasive cloudiness, 426 participants came out for the event, which started off at the Old Train Depot with the 10K run at 7 a.m.

The 5K started at 8:15 and the one-mile fun run began at 9:15. Of the 426 runners, 420 claimed Georgia as their home, while the remainder hailed from South Carolina, Alabama and Texas. See Wednesday's print edition for full results.
