BCSO on lookout for man who fled officers

POSTED: May 25, 2014 12:00 p.m.

Local authorities are searching for a man following a car chase that began when deputies were trying to serve warrants.

As of Friday afternoon the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office was still looking for Jade Neidler following a car chase that led to the arrests of two people.

Deputies were attempting to serve felony warrants on Neidler Wednesday night when a car attempted to run them over, according to the BCSO.

The chase began at a Briscoe Mill Road home, continued to Arch Tanner Road and concluded at Carl Bethlehem Road when driver David Tucker and passenger Amber Wilson Hayes jumped out of the car. Tucker and Hayes were arrested without incident.

Another passenger jumped out as well, but was not found following a K-9 search.

It is not known if Neidler was in the car at the time of the chase.

Neidler is wanted on felony warrants in Barrow and Walton counties.

Tucker was charged with aggravated assault of a peace officer, DUI, felony and misdemeanor obstruction and reckless driving. Hayes, of Hoschton, was charged with felony obstruction.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Neidler is asked to contact the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office at 770-307-3080.
