Bramlett Elementary School fifth grader Helen Bryant was recently named the winner of her school-wide Spelling Bee, receiving balloons, a gold coin, a subscription to Encyclopedia Britannica, and a Certificate of Merit. She will go on to represent Bramlett in the district-wide Spelling Bee February 3. Justin Heupel, also in the fifth grade, came in second place and will represent the school as an alternate. HMMS Read to Win receives grant

The Read to Win program at Haymon-Morris Middle School recently received a $500 donation from The Georgia Club Foundation. Money from the donation will be used to purchase books to give as a prize to students for every 15 books they read.
