Bulldoggs excited about Aug. 4 opening practice

Barracudas get ready for state meet this weekend
On Saturday July 19, YMCA Barracuda Swim Team members traveled to Habersham for the North Georgia Swim League's annual League Championships. Out of 12 teams the Barracudas placed 3rd and earned the coveted team spirit award. Over 600 swimmers competed in this USA Sanctioned Swim Meet. Stingrays, a Gwinnett team, took first place and Cumming Waves from Forsyth County placed 2nd. more »

Winder-Barrow Lady Doggs host soccer scrimmage
Winder-Barrow Lady Soccer Doggs hosted a three team scrimmage on Friday July 18. It was a hot and muggy night High school soccer is played in the winter so the conditions were pretty tough early with temperatures in the 90s. Apalachee took on Johnson High School out of Gainesville in the opener. Apalachee just out to a early 2-0 lead. They led 2-0 after one period. Gainesville caught the Lady Wildcats and went on to win late by a score of 3-2. more »
