Rojas went to the police department following the discovery of the broken glass because she said she feared for her safety, she fears that Meeks may do something even more drastic. Rojas played messages she had saved on her phone for officers to hear.
She claims that although Meeks had said at the time of the accident he did not want the police involved, he seems to have tried to take matters into his own hands.
The police report says Meeks left the following voicemail for Rojas.
"[This is] the guy that you ran into back in July and [I have] taken a warrant out for [your] arrest and if [you] don’t settle this debt with [me] then [you] will be arrested and taken to jail."
The accusation was proven false and Rojas complained that Meeks continues to harass her with phone calls.
Police could not arrest Meeks for harassment based on second-hand information, but Rojas was advised that she could file for a warrant herself.
Rojas was also advised that in order for her to legally be charged for damages, Meeks would have to take her to Civil Court.
