Directions to Barron Stadium


Note: All Rome High School home football games are played at Barron Stadium located on 2nd Avenue in downtown Rome. Baseball games are played at the Levee Fields across from Barron Stadium.

From Atlanta/Cartersville via I-75 and Highway 411:
• From I-75 North take Exit 290 (Rome/Canton) and turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Highway 20 West.

• Follow Highway 20 approximately 2 miles to a traffic light at a “T” intersection. Turn left at this light and make an immediate right on to the exit ramp where Highway 20 merges with Highway 41.

• Travel approximately 3 miles and watch for the Rome Exit to your right. Exit onto Highway 411.

• Continue on Highway 411 for approximately 20 miles. After you pass a Walmart and several hotels and car dealerships, you will reach a “clover-leaf.” Exit to your right onto Highway 27 North (also known as Turner-McCall Blvd.)

• Continue on Turner-McCall Blvd. (past Home Depot/ Starbucks/Olive Garden on the right) until you reach Floyd Medical Center on your left. You will go under a pedestrian overpass and you will turn left at the next traffic light onto 2nd Avenue.

• Barron Stadium is located on the left directly behind Floyd Medical Center.
