Mr. and Mrs. Kim L. Honan of Alpharetta announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Katherine, to William Addison Dillard, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Dillard of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Smith of Dawsonville, Mrs. Theresa Honan of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Glenn Honan. A graduate of Milton High School in Alpharetta, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia. She is employed by the Children’s Wish Foundation.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Peggy Haley of Winder and the late Bill Haley and Mrs. Janet Dillard of Bethlehem and the late Jack Dillard. A graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Housing and Consumer Economics from the University of Georgia.

The couple plan their wedding for Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at Neverland Farms in Cleveland. The reception will be at the D’Normandy House in Sautee.
