Winder Police Detective Tracy Wild has been provided possible suspects in a theft case who were visiting a Oak Street residence and had access to the home while the victim was away.

Found missing Jan. 30 from that residence were a number of pieces of jewelry and coins.

Among the items missing was a tennis bracelet with garnets valued at $200, another $100 tennis bracelet as well as a diamond necklace, a topaz ring valued at $100 and two other rings, earrings, gold chains and part of a $5,000 coin collection including Panama Canal coins were taken.

Change totaling $300 was taken from an East Wright Street location burglarized Jan. 31. A window was broken to gain entry.

A Dodge Dakota parked at a Dreamland Court location was forcibly entered Jan. 30. Missing was a GPS device.

Two vehicles parked at a Howard Circle location Jan. 31 were entered by suspects who took the purses inside the cars. One vehicle was unlocked while the other was secured. Entry was gained by breaking the windshield which was apparently heard by the victim who thought the noise was a falling tree limb.
