The Statham Police Department investigated two burglaries in the past seven days including a Jan. 23 break-in at an Oakspring Street address where approximately 100 DVDs were taken.
The other burglary was a Jan. 31 incident at a residence on McCarty Road. That case remains under investigation as efforts are under way to determine if anything was taken.
A criminal trespass was reported at a residence on Dooley Town Road on Jan. 22. Someone attempted to gain access to the building but failed to do so.
A harassing phone calls report was taken at a business on Atlanta Highway on Jan. 28.
Three arrests were made including that of Jessie Adam Hicks, 26, of Oakwood, who was arrested on Jan. 24 on a warrant from another agency.
Stephen Gravitt, 20, of Statham, was arrested on Jan. 30 on charges of driving without a valid license, no insurance and faulty equipment.
Courtney Wright, 18, of Statham, was also arrested Jan. 30 on a warrant from Barrow County.
One traffic accident was reported on Jan. 28. The one-vehicle accident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Jefferson Street when the driver struck a deer in the roadway. There were no injuries in the vehicle.
Statham officers issued 12 traffic citations and eight warnings in the past week.
