NEWSLETTER SIGN UPFor the second year in a row, The Peoples Bank has been named to Georgia Trend’s "Honor Roll of the Best Places to Work in Georgia." The independent community bank is one of three repeat winners among 10 employers honored this year.

Maddox, who is a third generation president and chief executive officer of The Peoples Bank. "I believe our employees are exceptional and their commitment is key to our future success."
The Georgia Trend honor comes on the heels of another top employer recognition for The Peoples Bank. On Sept. 25, the company was the only bank named by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the Top 10 Best Places to Work in Metro Atlanta among Medium Size Companies with 101-500 employees. The bank was also a finalist for the honor in 2008; only one-third of the finalists were repeats from last year’s nominees. Nearly 500 companies were nominated by employees this year, almost double the 256 nominated last year. Winners were determined based on data collected from the employees of the nominees.
