Customers’ senses will be awakened as they enter It’s a Wonderful Life, says Jeannie Pickard, who is working hard to ensure customers will want to return again and again, thus becoming loyal customers of the newly-opened Bethlehem business.
"From the beautiful, creative and fun way our merchandise is displayed, to the wonderful smells, sounds of great music, and the friendly, sincere attention they receive from our associates... this will be a place to remember," said Pickard.
Customers can also enjoy hot apple cider or a great cup of coffee along with a piece of Incredible Southern Pound Cake, a chocolate dipped macaroon or Jenny’s Cheese Rings.
Come escape for a time to truly enjoy leisurely shopping for that new accessory for the home, a great piece of furniture, something for the holiday table, a fun item for the kitchen, a collectible to expand that favorite collection, a gift for a special friend, a great piece of jewelry, handbag or accessory or something from the children’s room.
Variety is the key to It’s a Wonderful Life’s selections. "We will be expanding the lines of merchandise we carry as our store grows," said Pickard.
It’s A Wonderful Life will also be featuring artwork and jewelry by three local Atlanta area artists.
It’s a Wonderful Life will in some ways be a step back in time when life was a little simpler, suggests Pickard.
"After our store is stocked and displayed, good old fashioned customer service will be the icing on the cake," she says. "We want to give the feel of a small-town store with associates who are glad to see our customers and willing to do whatever it takes to help them enjoy their visit and achieve their purpose for shopping that day.
"Ultimately, our goal is to become their favorite place to shop," said Pickard.
Being involved in the community by giving back and providing residents with social opportunities through special events will be a goal with special events envisioned for at least four times a year.
It’s a Wonderful Life is located at 812 Christmas Ave., in Bethlehem, next to the soon-to-open new Bethlehem Post Office.
