Eighth grade students from Haymon-Morris Middle took a tour in May of the Barrow County Museum and completed the Winder Walking Tour. Students enjoyed learning about the history of the community.

Informative talks were given by, District Attorney Brad Smith, the Winder Fire Department, the Winder Police Department, Linda Adair of the Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit, and volunteers at the Barrow County Museum.

Students commented that they’d never look at Winder and Barrow County the same way.
