The Winder Citizen Police Academy Alumni will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts on Saturday starting at 8 a.m. in the Brandon Terrace Shopping Center on North Broad Street and in the parking lot of BB&T on South Broad Street.

According to Winder Police Officer Joey Lovinggood, the CPA alumni will be selling boxes of donuts for $6 each or two for $10 near Quality Foods and at BB&T.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the alumni efforts to promote the Fatal Vision safe driving program. Fatal Vision goggles are put on the simulate the feeling of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs and the participant gets behind the wheel of a golf cart and attempts to drive. Usually the driver runs over the orange cone obstacle course rather than through the course.
