The Winder-Barrow Future Farmers of America Agricultural Mechanics Team recently competed in the Area II FFA Agricultural Mechanics Career Development Event.
The event was held at Franklin County High School in Royston, GA on February 26.
Team members Connor Kennedy, Kaleb Kennedy, and Brandon Kohler participated in individual problem solving and skill development activities and took a written examination.
The event included subject matter associated with machinery and equipment systems and energy systems.
FFA is a national organization of over 500,000 members preparing for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture. FFA is an integral part of the agricultural education program in public schools.
The FFA mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
